United Way of Rockbridge Maury River Tree House

Hello!  Enter a chance to win a weekend getaway from August 18-August 20, 2023, to one of Rockbridge's five-star Airbnb's; the Maury River Tree House, including $100 towards dining at the local restaurant of your choice!  This luxury timber frame cottage sits on the banks of the Maury River. With construction built almost entirely by local craftsmen, this is truly a show stopper. There is one bedroom with a king bed and one full bath. Located a short 9 miles from Lexington, Washington and Lee and Virginia Military Institute. It's a fisherman's friend, paddlers paradise or just a relaxing retreat! The timber frame construction, stone fireplace and gourmet kitchen will take your breath away. You won’t want to leave! The spaceThis cozy cottage has it all. Wait till you wake up in the king size bed, push a button, and your automatic blackout blinds open to reveal the flowing waters of the Maury River. Walk into the bathroom where you will find a custom walk-in shower and heated floors. Brew a cup of coffee and sit on the deck watching the river flow by as deer, foxes, ducks, blue herons, hawks and even a bald eagle enjoy their mornings. Sit on the bank of the river or even in the river if you like, cast a line or get in a kayak. After a day on the river come home and rinse off outside because there is nothing like showering in an outdoor shower looking at the river! Wind-down while you cook dinner and sit by the fireplace. This really is an amazing place! RULESThere are only 300 tickets available! The prize raffle is open to any individual of the United States and there is no limit on tickets purchased.  This is a non-profit raffle. All proceeds from the raffle go to the United Way of Rockbridge to be used for community needs and support.  This raffle is for ONE prize winner and their guest. The prize winner will also receive $100 towards dining at the local restaurant of their choice.  The prize winner will be selected by random and contacted by July 3, 2023 or when all tickets are sold out. While your purchase of raffle tickets is not considered a charitable donation, any additional donation made to the United Way of Rockbridge is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
