HerUpland Horseback Field Trial Camp  -Update 4/18/23: We are planning to reschedule this event Join us at the Richardson Ranch in Payette, ID to learn about horseback field trialing! This camp is for 22 women, with two scholarships available for youth girls (applications due May 1, 2023).  This camp uses the AKC and UKC/AFTCA rules as a training and instruction guide. However, this camp is not directly affiliated with either organization. This camp will focus on field trial 101, horsemanship, and dog work. Whether you're brand new to the sport, have some experience, or just have general interest, you will no doubt benefit from this camp based on the curriculum and experienced instructors volunteering their time for this event.  This camp aims to teach and help better prepare yourself for entering and competing in a horseback field trial. As part of learning all aspects of training and testing preparation, you will learn and be requested to assist throughout the weekend with bird catching and planting, grooming and tacking horses, and cleaning and preparing birds for dinner, amongst other tasks.
