🏕️ DFW Black Moms Walking 3rd Annual Camping Trip: SHOW & TELL 🌿We’re taking our 3rd Annual Camping Trip a little differently this year—and honestly, that’s what community is all about: adapting and still finding a way to gather. 💛We weren’t able to secure our traditional campground this year, but we found the perfect alternative: a cozy Airbnb in a residential neighborhood with a backyard RV, five tent camping spots, and access to a nearby walking trail and fishing pond. We still get to unplug, get outside, and introduce our families to camping—with a few extra comforts nearby! 😂This year’s theme is SHOW & TELL!Remember Show & Tell as a kid? You brought something that mattered to you and got to tell everyone why. We’re bringing it back, grown-woman style! Each mom is encouraged to bring something meaningful to show the group and share the story behind it. It can be sentimental, funny, represent where you come from, something you created, something you're proud of whatever helps us get to know the woman beyond the everyday roles she carries.Expect tent camping, fishing, walking/hiking, morning yoga, games, s’mores, good food, laughter, connection, and fun! 🌿🔥👩🏾‍👧🏾‍👦🏾 This is a kid-friendly experience! Kids attend FREE, and yes, your sons are absolutely welcome. Because we’re gathering in a smaller, more intimate residential space this year, this trip will be for moms and their children only—no adult men. There are only 5 tent spots available, making this one of our most intimate camping trips yet.
