Madaniya— A Night for Sudan is back on Friday, October 11th! Join us for an evening filled with creativity, culture, and community as we unite to support a crucial cause. We’re calling on YOU to help raise awareness and relief funds for the Sudan Solidarity Collective, which is doing incredible work supporting those at the forefront of the humanitarian crisis in Sudan. 100% of the event’s net profits will go directly to this organization. The event will be held at 99 Scott Studio in Brooklyn, featuring performances by Sami El-Maghrabi and live sets by DJ Moma, Love Bonez, and Mo Yasin, and hosted by Bas!

It’s been over 500 days since the war began and to-date over 12 million people have been displaced by the ongoing violence in Sudan– making this the largest displacement crisis in the world. Across Sudan, the war has led to an imminent threat of famine, the resurgence of infectious diseases, and a decimation of the country’s public infrastructure, including its health care system. Although this war is largely ignored, we believe that it is our duty to leverage our communities in support of Sudan and will remain steadfast in our efforts to provide resources to those on the ground. In the spirit of community care and solidarity, we can’t wait to see you on the 11th! #MadaniyaNYC #AllEyesonSudan #KeepEyesOnSudan #MovingForwardSudan
