Creative Minds Homeschool Connection, INC and Mr. Otto's Bookstore have partnered to present a unique book club opportunity for homeschool families! We will meet on alternating Wednesday and Friday mornings. This is a free event, open to all homeschoolers.

Creative Minds Homeschool Connection, INC and Mr. Otto's Bookstore are excited to present a unique book club for homeschool families. We will meet on alternating Wednesday and Friday mornings. This is a free event open to all homeschoolers and children of all ages. Mr Otto is a retired teacher that LOVES to tell a great story, make silly voices, and share his passion for books. Younger siblings can play with toys after their readings while older siblings continue.  Readers will include Mr. Otto, students, parent volunteers and retired teachers! We are open to arranging this club based on the kids interests and strengths, some ideas include: <ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">30 minutes of group reading </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">30 minutes of independent or small group readings </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Poetry readings</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Short readings for younger children (they can draw, play with toys, or look at books while older siblings are still working)</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Parent volunteers, high school students, college students, retired teachers can read aloud </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">High school students can read to younger students</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">There are lots of toys for Youngers to play with while their older siblings read!</li></ul>Free parking is available on Pacific Ave. or around the corner in back parking lots on W Adam.
