Brittany Holzhauer and The CureNET Project 

Brittany Holzhauer, a fiercely determined and loving mother, has always been driven by her dreams. The eldest of four children, she's always sought to create the close-knit family she loved growing up in, even while pursuing her ambitious dreams of becoming a doctor. Her journey is marked by resilience and tenacity, with Brittany managing to balance a rigorous lifestyle to achieve her goals, ultimately becoming a Doctor of Pharmacy, marrying her supportive husband, Luke, and welcoming two beautiful children, Lorelei and Dean, into the world. However, her joyful life took a turn when she was diagnosed with stage IV Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNET), a rare and incurable form of cancer. Instead of succumbing to despair, Brittany, with her unwavering spirit, turned her personal tragedy into a beacon of hope for others by co-founding The CureNET Project. This non-profit aims to fund research, raise awareness about NETs, and support families facing the same struggles. Through her enduring strength and unyielding love for her family, Brittany continues to touch lives, giving warmth and hope to many others affected by this rare disease.
