Ammons Responds to Governor's Budget Proposals, Proritizes Policy Equity Rep. Carol Ammons, a seasoned and dedicated public servant, is currently in her 5th term representing 103rd District in the Illinois General Assembly (Champaign-Urbana metro/Champaign County). Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first African-American elected to champion the interests of the 103rd District. A testament to her pioneering spirit and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
