Annual Ryan Hendrix Memorial Golf Tournament - 2024 (cancelled)

The Ryan Hendrix Memorial Golf Tournament is a fun filled day of golf and companionship. The event is a reverent celebration in memory of Deputy Ryan Hendrix of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office who gave his life in service to his community when killed in the line of duty on September 10th, 2020. Participants will play a round of golf at Cummings Cove Golf Course and take on the challenge of the longest drive and closest-to-the pin contest. When the round is completed, volunteers & players will enjoy a delicious meal & awards ceremony with prizes.


In memory of Ryan Hendrix, proceeds from the event help support the tuition and living costs of aspiring Public Safety Officers enrolled in Basic Law Enforcement Training as well as current officers who may be experiencing financial hardship.


Please note that the number of golf participants/teams is limited and will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis.
