I Be a Witch Movie - based on a true story of the Salem Witch Trials

Event closed

"I Be a Witch", a historical film based on the true story of Ann Foster, an Andover widow convicted of witchcraft in the Witch Hysteria of 1692. Based on the historical record, the film was inspired by a one-act play created by Ann's descendant Lori Prescott Hansen,  which will be shown at the North Parish Church on Friday October 18. This is the only New England showing of the film, in the town where it happened. A panel discussion after the show with the Lori Prescott Hansen and the film's director and producer. This program is co-sponsored by the North Andover Historical Society and the Friends of the 1836 Meeting House.
