The 2024 American Esperanto Convention (Usona Kongreso de Esperanto) will take place from July 12-15, at CSU Dominguez Hills, 15 minutes away from Los Angeles International Airport, and 15 minutes from the beach. We are working on a fun and exciting program with items such as a beach party, presentations on LA Esperanto history, music jam sessions, and more. We are also planning excursion before and after these days to some of the fun locations that Southern California offers.

And for the first time, we are excited to work with the NASK team to plan a mini-course during the convention for newer and intermediate Esperantists.

Scholarships and financial assistance are available for lodging and food costs. If you will need additional help, please contact us at landa.kongreso@esperanto-usa.org.

If you would like to add a donation, this will go towards scholarships and financial assistance for other attendees.

Note: minors will need to be accompanied by an adult guardian or chaperone. Please contact us if you would like to register with a minor.

La Usona Kongreso de Esperanto de 2024 okazos dum la 12a ĝis la 15a de Julio, ĉe CSU Dominguez Hills, 15 minutojn for de la internacia flughaveno de Los Angeles, 15 minutojn for de la plaĝo. Ni prilaboras amuzan kaj energian programon kun eroj kiel plaĝfesto, prelegoj pri la historio de Esperanto en Los-Anĝeleso, komuna muzikfarado, kaj pli. Ni ankaŭ planas ekskursojn antaŭ kaj post tiujn tagojn al pluraj el la amuzaj lokoj kiujn Suda Kalifornio disponas.

Kaj por la unua fojo, ni tre ĝojas labori kun la teamo de NASK por plani mini-kurson dum la Kongreso por pli novaj kaj meznivelaj Esperantistoj.

Housing / Loĝado

This cost covers lodging at the university from July 12-15th. Each participant will be housed in an individual room (which each have unique keys) and share an apartment with another individual. Each room has an extended twin bed, and each apartment has a shared kitchen. Please let us know in the notes if you have a preference on who you’d like to share an apartment with. *Note that apartments are not equipped with air conditioning. Additionally, university lodging is only available July 12-15th. ///////// Loĝado ĉe la universitato de la 12-a ĝis la 15-a de julio. Ĉiu gasto havos privatan ĉambron, kun unika ŝlosilo, kaj kundividos apartamenton kun alia gasto. Ĉiu dormoĉambro havas longan unupersonan liton, kaj ĉiu apartamento havas kuirejon. (NOTE: THIS IS AN ADD-ON TO THE CONFERENCE - YOU MUST ALSO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR THE MINI-NASK.) Registration for the mini course for newer and intermediate Esperantists which will run during the conference. This will consist of four hours of instruction on the afternoon of Friday, July 12, and two hours each on the mornings of July 13-14. Thus, participants will not need to plan additional time or expenses and can enjoy this as part of their conference. The planned schedule for this course may be altered if necessary. This will be communicated to the registrants well ahead of time.
