What other less restrictive alternatives are available and how do you access them? This training will be an interactive dive into the behavioral health crises affecting some older adults. We will spend some time discussing the involuntary commitment code in Virginia, how to activate services, utilizing least restrictive alternatives, hospitalization and the possible unintended consequences of seeking involuntary hospitalization.
