Raleigh ASG Annual Meeting will be held on September 23, 2023 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh, 3313 Wade Avenue Raleigh NC  27507.  Lunch will be a catered event by Vic's Italian Restaurant. The main speaker will be Dr Kate Annett-Hitchcock speaking on Zero Waste Sewing and Recycling. Dr Annett-Hitchcock has been on the faculty at the Wilson College of Textiles at NCSU until June 30, 2023.  She studies design and product development for the under-represented populations in the apparel field, and also, has strong interest supporting women in entrepreneurship.  She is co-founder of the Advancement for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) at NC State, and founder of Textile Products for People with Disabilities, now known as Fashioning Health and Well-being. She has earned awards for both academic and community work.  The cost to attend the Raleigh ASG Annual Meeting is $25.00 and covers your cost for lunch.
