The JOURNEY WALK will take place at the Relay For Life of Lancaster County on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Conestoga Valley High School stadium starting at 4pm.  This JOURNEY WALK will begin with you carrying a weighted backpack (which represents a cancer diagnosis) the duration of the course. Participants will choose their bag weight being mindful of your own health and physical abilities. The JOURNEY WALK  is intended to be difficult but not impossible. Throughout this JOURNEY, you'll have opportunities to (temporarily) set your bag down, get relief from the American Cancer Society and learn about what we do to help cancer patients while they're on their JOURNEY.  As participants cross the finish line, they will not only get to drop their weight but will RING THE BELL to signify 'treatment' is over. The JOURNEY WALK will take approximately 90 minutes to complete.  Cost is $15 per person. For an additional $10 donation, participants can keep the backpack with the Journey Walk image shown above.  This event is open for all ages, however, youth ages 17 and under must have a parent/designated guardian with you.
