St. James Cathedral Organist & Director of Music Joseph Adam continues a year-long celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of César Franck and his magnificent contributions to the French organ repertoire. In this series of four recitals, Franck’s major works are surveyed along with major works by his most important successors at the Basilica of St. Clotilde in Paris. This second concert of the series offers Franck's Pastorale; Prélude, Fugue et Variation; and Grand Pièce symphonique, as well as Charles Tournemire's Triple Choral.

Dear First name Last name, Thank you for your ticket donation for the Friday, September 30 Joseph Adam concert at St. James Cathedral. Here is some useful information:   Doors open at 7:00pm. The concert begins at 7:30pm and runs approximately 65 minutes, with no intermission. Location & Where to Enter  The address of the Cathedral is 804 9th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104.    There are three Cathedral entrances for concerts:   - The Marion Street/Terry Avenue entrance is at the northeast corner of the Cathedral (nearest to O'Dea parking). This entrance is accessible to those with disabilities. The restrooms are located at this entrance.   - The Columbia Street/Courtyard entrance is on the south side of the Cathedral near the Chapel. Accessible via a ramp.   - The 9th Avenue entrance is on the west side of the Cathedral. This entrance is NOT accessible to those who use a wheelchair or have other mobility issues.   Tickets and Seating Please bring a printed or electronic copy (on smartphone or tablet) of your ticket to the concert to be scanned. You may check in at any entrance. If you’re unable to print your ticket and don’t have an electronic device, your name and the number of tickets will be on a printed list at the door.   Concert seating is first come, first served. Please note that some seats, indicated by signs, are reserved for Friends of Cathedral Music donors.   If you or a member of your party has a specific seating need (wheelchair, aisle seat for walker, etc.), please contact us in advance at musicoffice@stjames-cathedral.org or 206-382-4874, and we will make sure that you are accommodated.   Parking Information  - Limited free parking is available in the O'Dea High School parking lot, entrances on Marion and Columbia Streets between Terry and Boren Avenues.   - Paid street parking is enforced until 8:00pm.   - Accessible parking is available on the west side of Terry Avenue, between Marion and Columbia.   - There is a small pay lot across the street from the Cathedral on 9th Avenue and a larger pay lot at 711 Madison Street.  Public Transportation  St. James Cathedral is within a few blocks of a number of bus lines and the First Hill Streetcar.
