**Membership dues are tax deductible. All proceeds from memberships, book store purchases, and fundraising are returned to your library.  Some of the things Friends of the Library does are annually funding both the Summer Reading Program and the LEGO Contest.  In the Fall, we also sponsor a Creative Writing Contest with cash prizes.  So far, in 2024 we have provided funds to the Literacy Department to help replace/complete their instruction curriculum.
