Youth Center Access (8-12 years old)

4th Second Youth Centers and Programming are designed to provide safe spaces for youth to hang out, be creative, and grow as individuals. Youth programming, activities, equipment and events will take place at 4th Second Youth Centers located at 1788 Tuolumne St, 236 Georgia St. #100, and the community garden at 600 Cherry St. <p fr-original-style="width:100%;margin:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);line-height:1.5;" id="isPasted" style="width:100%;margin:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);line-height:1.5;">Youth have an opportunity to build multiple skills from creating resumes, preparing for college, and much more skills assisting their future. Youth will demonstrate and develop their leadership skills with hands-on projects that will enrich curriculum, offer mentorship opportunities, and create a stronger sense of self-determination. Youth are currently allowed to do drop-ins&nbsp;for our different programs, and at the end of the year, staff will assess their participation and dedication, then extend a Youth Leader position that offers stipends for doing advocacy/civic engagement work.
