STROBE LIGHTING I - QUALITY OF LIGHT

This workshop will introduce broad concepts of lighting and give students ways to think about and discuss different qualities of light. But it will also be hands-on, allowing students to get their hands on all the standard strobe gear and light modifiers used in a typical photography studio and begin understanding how to use different tools to achieve different effects. 

STROBE LIGHTING II - SETUPS

This workshop will build on the broad concepts and new familiarity with gear from the first workshop by going over specific lighting setups and how they’re achieved. There will be a lot of opportunity for students to experiment with different setups and modifications of them.

STROBE LIGHTING III - LOCATION

This workshop will take strobe gear outside and introduce all the ways to mix light and set up a portable studio.
