It's that time of the year for our annual Shine Project Foundation Surf and Turf Fundraiser all happening on 10/21/23. The event will begin with a Surf Contest at Tamarack State Beach from 7am-12pm.  Next, teams of 4 will compete in our Golf Tournament at Goat Hill Golf Park in Oceanside from 2-6pm.  And then, the Afterparty will follow at Goat Hill Golf Course from 6-9pm.  This is a fun all ages celebration with a catered dinner, open bar, live music, silent and live auction, and some great vendors.  All money raised will go directly to supporting our mission of providing free inclusive enrichment events for children with special needs and their families and to help us on our journey of establishing a Shine Certified Community Partner Program to help Carlsbad be an inclusive community for all families with special needs. We will need the following volunteer position filled.  Not only will your help create and ensure that these events run smoothly and are fun for all, ultimately you help us to bring community together for a GOOD TIME and GREAT CAUSE! Volunteer description:1.
