At this very special in-person Women's Health Matters session, we will discuss the importance of healthy lifestyle choices, especially prioritizing rest in our daily lives. We will have A Yoga Practitioner at the event who will lead a session of chair yoga. We will also have a discussion about how our lifestyle can impact our mental health and wellbeing. Refreshments will be served.
Our practitioner Naadiya received her Bachelor’s in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University and her Master’s in Environmental Health with a certificate in Health Communications from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Naadiya has been practicing yoga consistently since 2015 and decided to take the dive into teacher teaching in the Fall of 2019. Naadiya has trained in multiple modalities including antigravity aerial and restorative yoga, trauma-informed yoga, yoga for all, yoga nidra, kundalini yoga, vinyasa yoga, and breathwork.
