As we honor the resilience, sacrifice, and dedication of those who have served and continue to serve, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who contributed to the post-9/11 recovery—Service Members, First Responders, Health Care Workers, Pharmacy Workers, Grocery Store Employees, Teachers, Truckers, Delivery Service Workers, and every hero in our lives. We also recognize the Dreams Come True children, whose courage and strength continue to inspire us all.
DISPLAYED FLAGS
Over 200, 7-foot American flags will be displayed to honor our heroes.

CEREMONY
Come together to honor our heroes! Join us at the ceremony, encircled by over 200 majestic American flags, accompanied by patriotic music, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Honor Guard, names of the heroes being recognized read out loud by specials guests.

Sponsorship opportunities begin at a $50 donation, and all sponsors receive the honor of having their hero’s name(s) mentioned during the ceremony, in the event program and on Rotary Club of Orange Park Sunrise website. An American flag will be displayed in your hero's honor, along with an all-new custom-designed keepsake coin. We also offer sponsorship levels with added benefits of featuring your business logo and the opportunity to showcase a table at the ceremony.
DREAMS COME TRUE
This year’s event not only honors our community’s heroes but also offers a special sponsorship opportunity through Dreams Come True, northeast Florida’s local dream-granting organization. Sponsors can dedicate a flag to a local child battling a life-threatening medical condition, celebrating their courage and resilience alongside other inspiring heroes.
PROCEEDS
In 2024, $15,840 in proceeds supported Clay Fire, Orange Park Police, Green Cove Springs Police, Clay Sheriff, Florida Army National Guard, YMCA Clay Military Programs and more.
In 2025 this year, proceeds will support Wounded Warrior Project, Florida Army National Guard, Clay Fire, Orange Park Police, Green Cove Springs Police, Clay Sheriff and more.

- Can anyone be honored? Certainly! The recognition of heroes extends beyond those who tragically lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks.
- Can I still sponsor my hero if they're deceased? Yes, it would be our honor.
- What size are the flags displayed? 7 - 8 foot.
- When will I receive the coin? You can pick it up at the ceremony on September 11th.
- Do I keep the flag? No, the flags are only to be displayed.
- Can anyone attend the ceremony? Absolutely, we would love for you to join us!
- What if it rains on September 11? The ceremony will be held inside, rain or shine.
