After a 17-year hiatus, the Howard County Historical Society is excited to announce we are resurrecting the Cemetery Walk, an opportunity for local history enthusiasts to explore and learn about notable figures buried in Crown Point Cemetery.  Join us on Friday October 4th from 6-7 pm and October 5th from 2-3:30 pm. Spots are limited. We recommend purchasing tickets online, but some walk up availability with be offered.  The beginning time on your ticket is the time of your tour. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to ensure your spot. Late arrivals are not guaranteed a spot in their timed group, or any following groups. There are no refunds for late arrivals. This event requires extended standing and walking. Run time for the show is approximately an hour and a half. Minimal seating will be provided if needed, as well as limited availability of wheelchairs and scooters. All stops will be on the existing paved path. Parking will be open on the north side of Sycamore Street, east and west sides of Delphos Street, and various overflow areas. Please look for a parking attendant for assistance. Because of limited parking, we encourage you to carpool as much as possible. In the case of inclement weather, we will notify ticket holders via email and post on social media at least one hour before the first show. Rain dates are tentatively set for October 11 and 12.
