Everyone is angry about something and it is leading to hateful rhetoric and even violence. Both the right and the left want to cancel each other. Polarization is growing in the US faster than in other democracies. Simple virtues like kindness and accountability have been jettisoned for political expediency. All of these are the hallmarks of a crumbling democracy. The question is - what can we do about it? At the Global Faith Forum, we will tackle the topics of civility, citizenship, and how to be a good neighbor from a variety of religious perspectives. Together, we will learn how EveryONE, individually and as a whole, can work on building peace in a time of outrage.
