<a fr-original-style="" href="http://www.blackbuckeyes.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">The Ohio State University Black Alumni Society</a>, an affiliate of the Ohio State University Alumni Association, a 501(c)(3), will host its 5th Annual OSU Black Alumni Society Scholarship Golf Classic + Sip &amp; Swing on Monday, October 5, 2026, at The Medallion Club. Rooted in our mission to connect, celebrate, and support Ohio State&rsquo;s Black and broader alumni community while advancing opportunities for current and future Buckeyes, this signature event raises critical funds for The OSU Black Alumni Society Support Fund and scholarships for Ohio State students. As we celebrate year five, our goal is clear: sell out the Golf Classic, sell out the Sip &amp; Swing, and maximize every sponsorship opportunity in support of student success and alumni engagement. The Scholarship Golf Classic is a 4-person team scramble with a 10 AM shotgun start. Registration includes greens fees, range balls, golf cart, and admission to the Awards Celebration. Beyond the golf itself, participants will enjoy course competitions, networking, raffle opportunities, and a closing celebration recognizing top golfers, competition winners, and our generous partners. The&nbsp;Sip &amp; Swing will begin at 1 PM during the team scramble. This experience is perfect for new or improving golfers who are not quite ready for 18 holes. Participants will learn fundamentals, build confidence, and sharpen their skills in a relaxed setting with guidance from a qualified PGA professional instructor. The Sip &amp; Swing also offers a unique opportunity to practice, network with friends, and make new connections while directly supporting The Society&#39;s programming. Your participation has real impact. Every golfer, Sip &amp; Swing participant, sponsor, and donor helps expand scholarship access, strengthen alumni programming, and invest in the next generation of Ohio State leaders.
