Join The BE Side BoardThank you for your interest in supporting The BE Side. We are a global network of fine and performing artists, creative professionals, and community advocates using creative experiences to promote well-being, education, artistic advancement, and meaningful opportunities for young people. Following recent updates to our governance structure and bylaws, 2027 marks an important new chapter for The BE Side, with youth empowerment and expanded access to the arts across Maryland at the center of our work. We invite artists, creative professionals, community advocates, and visionaries who share this commitment to consider serving as members of our Board of Directors. What It Means to Serve on The BE Side Board Strategic Governance &amp; Voting Participate in the governance of The BE Side, including voting on organizational matters and helping guide initiatives focused on youth arts programming, creative access, grants, partnerships, and community engagement across Maryland. Advocacy &amp; Leadership Serve as an ambassador for The BE Side&#39;s mission while helping champion working creative professionals and build sustainable pathways for the next generation of artists and creative leaders. Quarterly Governance Participate in four annual board meetings, held in a hybrid virtual/in-person format, with discussions centered on organizational strategy, programmatic impact, financial stewardship, partnerships, and community outreach. Creative Network &amp; Member Benefits Connect with a growing network of artists, creative professionals, educators, and community leaders. Board members may also receive access to professional development resources, archived webinars, content-production tools, and select partner benefits. 2027 Board InvestmentThe annual Board investment is $300.This contribution supports the continued development and operation of The BE Side and its mission to expand creative opportunities, resources, mentorship, and platforms for young Maryland artists.
