United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance - Oregon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing sacred spaces to strengthen the minds and bodies of QTPIs (Queer & Trans Pacific islanders) in the State of Oregon and Southwest Washington through community organizing, political engagement, and cultural stewardship. Coming out of the pandemic, we’ve enjoyed these opportunities to connect more deeply with our Pasifika communities through cultural workshops and unique QTPI-based programs and events.

Sharing space with our QTPIs and allies has led to beautiful moments of cultural exchanges and talking story. We collectively learn, pass down, and grow with each other and our traditions in these moments. At UTOPIA PDX’S Pasifika Befit, we aim to foster an environment that celebrates these connections by creating space to experience these exchanges in real-time.
