Because of you, Mil Milagros is expanding to communities with higher rates of malnutrition and fewer public services than anywhere we have worked before. First-time mothers are learning about child development and receiving the food they need for their babies and toddlers. Teachers are signing up to learn literacy techniques and honing their skills during staff classroom visits. And new leaders are emerging to support their peers in workshops and monitor hygiene practices at their children’s schools. This is only possible because you believe in the power of local leaders to improve their own communities.
