Over its history, MATI has featured world-class musicians from Ukraine, Europe and North America, performing in the unique setting of the Ukrainian Institute of America’s National Historic Landmark Beaux Arts concert hall. Since its inception, MATI is proud to have commissioned works by emerging and established Ukrainian composers, in celebration or commemoration of important milestones in the history of Ukraine and of The Institute.  For the past twelve years, under the leadership of Artistic Director, Solomiya Ivakhiv, MATI has been expanding its scope with new relationships around the globe.
