About Music at the Institute
In its 35th season, MATI has been introducing audiences to important works by Ukrainian composers, presented alongside well-known chamber music compositions. Over its history, MATI has featured world-class musicians from Ukraine, Europe and North America, performing in the unique setting of the Ukrainian Institute of America’s National Historic Landmark Beaux Arts concert hall. Since its inception, MATI is proud to have commissioned works by emerging and established Ukrainian composers, in celebration or commemoration of important milestones in the history of Ukraine and of The Institute.
