Full Bellies, Empty Bowls

You're cordially invited to join us for a celebration of community, collaboration, and compassion at our "Full Bellies, Empty Bowls" fundraiser! Local artisans have generously donated unique, handmade ceramic bowls that we will fill to the brim with delicious soup of your choice. You get to keep the bowl you select as a memento of the event. Additionally, we'll provide bread and a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The venue, Society Hall located at 72 Meeting St., will be filled with the joyful sounds of music, laughter, and meaningful conversations.

Every dollar raised at this event directly supports The Stone Soup Collective, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We're a dedicated group of volunteers who come together weekly to prepare nourishing soup for our neighbors facing food insecurity. Our mission is made possible thanks to the generous donations of produce from our community partners, including GrowFood, The Green Heart Project, The Charleston Parks Conservancy, James Island Outreach, and the College of Charleston Sustainable Agriculture program. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church for generously sharing their kitchen facilities with us. With the incredible support of our friends and partners, we make every dollar stretch a long way in our efforts to combat hunger.

We look forward to sharing this meaningful event with you and expressing our gratitude for your support in making a difference in our community. Please join us in this celebration of compassion and unity.
