Please join us for "Say it with Music", a program of early twentieth century American popular music that has left an indelible mark on today's musical landscape. These timeless melodies will have you humming along nostalgically, as we take a journey down memory lane through the power of music. 

Co-curated with the talented soprano and ukulele player, Sarah Moyer, "Say it with Music" features songs written by composers who immigrated to the United States at the turn of the 20th century.  Enjoy tunes from the Tin Pan Alley genre, penned by legendary songwriters like Irving Berlin and Victor Herbert, and exquisite pieces by classical composers of the time, adding a rich tapestry of musical heritage. You'll also learn about the history of the music publishing industry, sheet music printing, and the significance the ukulele had on popular music.
