After a sold out first show, which made it to the front page of the Washington Post, Making a Difference and The Theatre Lab collaborates again with the Strong Azz Mothers to bring back their sold-out original dramatic performance, Turning Pain Into Purpose: Say My Son's Name.  Celebrate Mother's Day with the heartwarming and inspiring original play featuring the Strong Azz Mothers, a coalition of moms who turn the pain of losing their sons to gun violence into purpose by supporting and advocating for families navigating the grief of loss and deferred justice. Immediately following the performance there will be a talkback with the cast, directors, and relevant voices working to curb recent record-high gun violence in the District and surrounding areas.
