There are lots of cool things to make other than doilies like our grandmothers made. Even Taylor Swift is now wearing crocheted items. It works up quickly, is very portable, and can go with you anywhere.  Join us for a 2 class introduction to the basics of crochet that will give you the tools to . During this class we will learn things like basic stitches (single, double, triple crochet stitches) and how to increase/decrease stitches. We will also discuss how to ‘read’ a written crochet pattern and find free patterns that fit your skill level.  We are going to be using 5mm hooks for this class. If you already have a hook that size, feel free to bring it. There will be a limited number of hooks available to use during class. Yarn will be provided.  By the end of the class you will have the skills and materials to make a square cotton dishcloth or a basic scarf. In addition, you will also get my “Airplane Pattern” that I make when I fly.   Payment by Zeffy is strongly preferred. Change will not be available for cash payments.
