King Tide Challenge Foundation

While the beach walk is free, we ask that you donate what you can below.  

Suggested donations are $50, $100, $150, and $200 - all donations collected from walkers will be sent to UCSD Skin Cancer Research.  NOTE, due to limited seating and associated expenses, the Tower 13 After Party will be limited to participants who have donated to the The King Tide Challenge.  If you can't donate now, but wish to attend the After Party, you can revisit our "Register / Donate" page to add a donation.

The purpose of the King Tide Challenge is to raise money for UCSD Skin Cancer Research while sharing a challenging 11-mile beach walk along the beautiful California coastline.  While our annual beach walk is FREE, we do ask each walker to donate what they can from $0 to $1,000.  100% of all walker donations will be sent to UCSD Skin Cancer Research.   The King Tide Challenge is a non-profit funded by corporate sponsorships, which allows us to keep our annual walk free.
