Introduction to Winter Sowing

Winter sowing is FUN & EASY!

If you enjoy growing seeds, then you definitely need to give winter sowing a try. It’s a really fun method to use, and can be a game-changer for gardeners getting an early start.  We have two identical sessions!  This is an INDOOR & IN PERSON CLASS.

We will provide:

Soil, Seeds, Markers, Tape, Utility Knifes. 


We will have limited demonstration containers to take home, please help reduce waste by bringing and using recycled materials for your containers!


Bring gloves

Containers (empty & clean milk jugs and larger produce clam shell packaging is perfect, clear see-through plastics are best)  Ideal soil depth is 6 inches so keep that in mind with your chosen containers. One gallon milk jugs are a favorite.
