The Orchard House is presenting their Annual Stony Creek Brewery Duck Race! It is an annual fundraiser for The Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center in Branford. The race is hosted by the Stony Creek Brewery. We have 3,000 yellow rubber ducks racing available for purchase. With a $5.00 donation per duck, you will receive a numbered rubber duck entry into the race. The more ducks you sponsor, the better chance of winning prizes! The event starts at 1:00p.m. and ends at 4:00p.m. The ducks will be launched at 3:00p.m. from the Stony Creek Bridge where they will then race towards the finish line! First ducks to cross the line will be gathered in the order they crossed the finish line in, winning the corresponding prizes. Prizes will be announced, winners do not have to be in attendance. During the event, an MC from WPLR; Jimmy Rapuano, will be hosting the gathering and instructing where people can find the 50/50 raffle tickets for purchase and where to find the Raffle Table, which will be lined with additional prizes that tickets can be purchased for. Food and drink will be available for purchase from Stony Creek Brewery amidst all of the fun presented by The Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center during the race. So come on down to The Stony Creek Brewery on Sunday October 9th, grab a drink, and let the race begin! Goodluck!
