Sallie Bingham Memoir Writing Workshop

Sallie Bingham will teach 2 workshops for memoir and fiction writers:

1. "Tackling History”—using her research and writing of “Shawnee” she will have short exercises using historical events from students’ lives, we'll write and read aloud, and have plenty of time for questions about the complicated issue of access and agency: who has the right to write which stories?

2. "Focus on Memoir"--students can submit up to 10 pages of a work-in-progress by email for Sallie's feedback. Sallie will discuss memoir and fiction techniques, based on students' interests.
