She received her doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 2010. Dr. Alluri’s research areas have included highway safety and traffic operations. Dr. Alluri has served as the Principal Investigator for over $6.5M. Her research has resulted in over 200 publications and an Elsevier book on connected and automated vehicles. An active member of the ITE, Dr. Alluri is currently serving as the Chair of the ITE Safety Council. She also serves as the faculty advisor for the FIU student chapter of ITE.
