This form is for Militaria vendors and concession operators attending D-Day Conneaut.

The 2024 D-Day Conneaut event will run Thursday August 15 through Saturday

August 17. Vendor set up starts Tues at 9:00 am and must be completed by Wed at

6:00 pm. 

Militaria merchandise must be WWII oriented and may be military or civilian items. Preference is

given to vendors who meet one or more of the following criteria: unique or hard to find

items, high quality original and reproduction items, WWII appearing set-up, D-Day

specific items (as part of all of inventory), items catering to a portion of WWII reenactors

(e.g. women, specialized impressions), high sales volume and/or name recognition

through national/international sales.

All concession owners must use 1940 appearing set ups for food vending. This may include

standard wooden food trailers, commercial aluminum trailers with canvas draping or cardboard or

wooden “sides”, or canvas tents (white or colored) in lieu of plastic. Signage should appear 1940s in

style and concession owners are encouraged to use WWII themed posters on the exterior of their

trailers or awnings. Last, concession operators and their staff should seek to dress in a 1940s

appearance. To assist concession owners in developing this appearance, a printed file or electronic

file of examples from 1940-1945 will be provided. Concession owners who do not make a good faith

effort follow these guidelines will not be permitted to participate in future years. For first time

vendors, a drawing, photograph or verbal description of compliance with 1940’s period requirement

should be submitted by June 1, 2024
