Joining the Bird Alliance of Southwestern New Mexico will provide access to phenomenal local bird watching excursions, fantastic programs on a variety of topics including bird identification, and opportunities to participate in community science efforts such as the Christmas Bird Count and Winter Raptor Survey. Your membership includes timely notifications of upcoming events and our informative newsletter five times a year. We are a chapter of the National Audubon Society, but we are a separate 501(c)(3) organization and receive no monetary support from them other than a small annual stipend. Joining our chapter supports local efforts to achieve our mission - to provide love for and protection of Southwestern New Mexico birds and their habitats!&nbsp; Please note that Zeffy provides BASWNM the ability to use online services without any administrative charges.
