She was a graduate of Clarence High School in 1988 and received her BA in Education from SUNY Fredonia in 1992. Cheryl was a member of the Varsity Women’s Soccer team at Fredonia for four years where she made lifelong friends and her passion for the game continued throughout the duration of her life. She coached thousands of children, starting with her son Zachary and daughter Lauren, at the Clarence Soccer Club for 26 years. After completing her Master’s Degree at SUNY Buffalo State, she went on to touch the lives of many students at St. Josephat’s, The Kadimah School of Buffalo, Letchworth Schools, and The Universal School. Cheryl took her passion for teaching beyond white boards and worksheets; she was a confidante for her students and friend for those that depended on her. Cheryl tutored University at Buffalo football athletes for a brief period and continued to send motivational texts to her students that continued their careers into the NFL.
