EVENT:  KWA's Fall Kite, Wing, Foil, Windsurf Classic

WHEN: Saturday, September 14th - start at 0900 

Safety brief and course details will be given at 0845

Check in will be between 0815 - 0845

WHAT: there will be 2 courses - a LONG and a SHORT course being offered. 

SHORT course - buoy by flat island down to a buoy by Castles and back to the beach - 1 lap

LONG course - buoy by flat island, to Castle, 2 laps

Each racer will do the course 3 different times, in the same discipline and the scores will be cumulative.  Each heat will have a maximum of 10 people. Heats will be pre-determined by discipline. Heats will begin every 10-15 minutes. 

Starts will be a WATER start, racers will line up behind 2 buoys in front of the beach , 10 at a time max. There will be 2 flags, RED flag up to give you a 5 minute warning, YELLOW flag up to show a 1 minute warning and BOTH flags up for the start. Everyone will start at the same time, so please pay attention to the flags. Finishers will only get marked down, the order they finish, not by a time.

Race scores will be based on a point system, based on what place you finish. You must race 3 times, in the same discipline, in order to be eligible to place in the top 2 in that category. There will be a top 2 male and female winner, in each discipline. 

So if you decided to do the course in different disciplines, you will be ineligible to win.

15/mph minimum wind speeds needed for this event to go on

LATE ENTRY FEE (after Sept 9): $80pp

Entry fee includes: long sleeve dri-fit shirt, race bib, insurance, safety boat and a beach side award ceremony pizza party at the end of the event with a few raffle prizes.

**UPDATE: SAME DAY registrations will be accepted, but must be registered before 0830. Bring exact CASH or there will be a QR Code you can scan to make payments online.

*** LATE ENTRIES will NOT guarantee a race shirt. (we ordered some extra shirts, you just might not get the size you want)
