BIRD SHIT CHALLENGE 2024 by Kiteboarding Paradise Hawaii OPEN TO: kiteboarding, kitesurfing, kite foiling, windsurfing & wing foiling Entry Fee: $35 & includes long sleeve dryfit hoodied safety yellow race shirt, (2) safety jetskis with rescue sled, drinks, food & awards.  COURSE: Kailua beach, around Mokolea (aka Bird Shit Island) and back (approximately 4.6 mile roundtrip course. 2.3 miles up wind to Bird Shit Island, around the island and back downwind 2.3 miles) Running start at a set time with a horn. Everyone will start at once upwind behind the starting line which will be between two big inflatable buoys. Each division will be judged/awarded separately, including by gender.  DATE: Sunday, August 18thTIME: race start time at 9a (wind conditions pending) Check in on race day at Kailua Beach park at 7am.
