It will help us keep our events accessible and frequent!) In this workshop, we will explore our unique experiences of gender. Together, we will shift our focus from external input to self-exploration and expansive embodiment through guided visualization and optional group sharing. There is one flight of stairs in the building. What happens at Guided Visualization? In this workshop, we will explore our unique experiences of gender. Together, we will shift our focus from external input to self-exploration and expansive embodiment through guided visualization and optional group sharing. Thank you for your continued dedication to helping us keep our community safe* We want to build in some shared values, commitments, and boundaries we want us all to be able to share in at The Library:<ol><li>Explicit, enthusiastic, ongoing consent is required—ask before you touch, engage, escalate, or interact in any form! We love boundary setting and “no’s” in this space, so please remember that the only response to “no” is “thank you” and to move on. Pay attention to people’s body language and non-verbal cues they might be communicating to you when negotiating play.</li><li>We encourage you to check in with your partner(s) when playing. Consent is ongoing meaning it can be revoked at any time. What’s ok in this moment might not be ok in the next moment. “How does this feel?” “Would you like to continue?” etc are great ways to check in during play.</li><li>Ask, don’t assume, gender, pronouns, or sexual preference. Pronouns are one way we live our identity, so please try to introduce yourself with your own pronouns and ask politely for others’ pronouns. </li><li>We are working to be an inclusive, diverse, organization where socially marginalized communities are welcomed and centered. Our intentions and priorities are always to create an equitable, safer, and affirming space particularly for those this community often excludes. Please be mindful of the space you inhabit and the inherent power dynamics that continuously shape our interactions. We ask that you consciously work to create space where you are able.  </li><li>If at any point you don't feel comfortable, your consent has been violated, you witness harassment, or you need any type of assistance at all, please approach any of the organizers or volunteers. We are here to listen, love, learn, and support.</li><li>There are no photos allowed without explicit consent from everyone in the photo–that includes those in the background! Be careful where you’re pointing your phone–it’s quite jarring to have a phone pointed towards you, even if a photo isn’t being taken. Additionally, NEVER share any photos in any capacity without explicit consent of all those pictured.</li><li>We want to build space for accountability, feedback, and dialogue, where we can unlearn and relearn together in a space where we feel comfortable being called in and supported in moving forward. We welcome and appreciate feedback, calling out problematic behavior, and the sharing of concerns in this space. We have an anonymous feedback form here for any feedback you’d prefer not to share in person. With this being said, we are a survivor-centered space, and we will not hesitate to remove those causing harm.</li></ol>Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, ideas, etc!
