HerUpland Pointing Dog - IntermediateHelmville, MT June 8 - 11, 2023 Join us in Helmville, MT to help prepare for your upcoming hunting season and/or pointing dog test. The Intermediate Pointing Dog is for 28 women, four scholarships available for youth girls (applications due May 1, 2023). This camp utilizes testing requirements from NAVHDA UT, JGHV HZP, VHDF AHAE and AKC SH/MH as training guides we implement throughout camp. However, this camp is not directly affiliated with any of those organizations. This camp will focus on field steadiness, advanced obedience, marked retrieve, duck search, duck and rabbit drag, steadiness in the blind, backing and blind retrieve. You and your dog will no doubt benefit from this camp based on the curriculum and experienced instructors volunteering their time for this event.  Ultimately, this camp aims to help better prepare yourself and your dog for the upcoming hunting season and potential testing venue.
