These materials are easy for students to tote with them as we explore the natural world of flower garden and wooded dunes and focus on many natural objects like shells, skeletons, taxidermy mounts and more! She attempted a brief stint at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, but Nature was her true passion so she headed to Stockton University. She graduated in 1981 with a major in Environmental Science and independent study in Cetacean behavior. In 1995 she created a children's Nature camp at the Bayside Center and Elementary school program for the city of Ocean City NJ that she organized and taught for many years. As a homeschooling mother of two daughters, she taught art, theater, sign-singing and ecology to children through a local cooperative she created. Passionate about Montessori education, she received her certification and opened Garden Gate School. Peaches and her husband Mike moved to Cape Island in 2018. First by boat. Then to 3 acre farm where they are living their homestead dream.
