Morgan Stanley duPont Manual Alumni Luncheon:&nbsp; Thursday December 18, 2025. &nbsp;Social Hour 11am Lunch service begins at noon.&nbsp; We are &nbsp;honored to welcome Charles McLaurine as our guest speaker for the upcoming Alumni Luncheon. A proud member of the Class of 1970 and a Hall of Fame inductee, McLaurine has built an extraordinary legacy of service, leadership, and dedication to both community and country. During his years at Manual, McLaurine was known for his strength on and off the football field. He earned letters his junior and senior years and was part of the 1969 Manual team that defeated Male 20&ndash;6 in the historic Thanksgiving Day game. His leadership and character earned him the Baer Memorial Award, recognizing the senior who best exemplified integrity, teamwork, and perseverance. After graduation, McLaurine attended Lees-McRae College in North Carolina on an athletic and academic scholarship before continuing his education and football career at Hampton University. There, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his nation with honor and distinction. Over the course of his military career, he rose through the ranks and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Following his military service, McLaurine embarked on a second successful career in law. He is currently an attorney with Dinsmore &amp; Shohl LLP in Louisville, where he continues to demonstrate the same professionalism, discipline, and leadership that defined his military service. In addition to his legal and military achievements, McLaurine has made a lasting civic impact as a founding member and current chairman of the Patriots Peace Memorial.
