LXCL:Lower Crown Royale Skill Clinic Tuesday 8/12/25 5:30pm-8:30pm

3 Hour Lesson

Ladies, ready to level up your riding and have a blast doing it? Join Erik Obermeyer and Inspire Cycling for a women's skills clinic focused on building confidence and technique on the playful, technical Lower Crown Royale trail. This clinic is for someone who has ridden Crown Royale, but walks features on the final section. It's a good fit for someone that is reasonably comfortable riding Father of Ginormous, Ginormous and Deadline. Meet at Rio Grand Trail Parking on Catherine Store Road at 5:30pm We'll start with a mellow 2.3 mile ride on the Rio Grande Trail to reach the Buckhorn trailhead. From there, we'll climb approximately 730 feet over 4.8 miles up Buckhorn and traverse across to Lower Crown Royale. Expect a mix of steady climbing and flowing singletrack to warm up before we begin sessioning. We will work on how to handle and ride the "G-outs" in the gulley, upslope turns, and lollipops. Riding is more fun than walking! Throughout the clinic, we'll stop to session these features as a group, with personalized coaching and feedback on body position, braking, and line choice. You'll have multiple chances to ride each section, build comfort, and progress your skills -- no pressure, no judgment, and no need to take the go-arounds! Whether you're looking to ride more smoothly, carry speed through corners, or simply feel more confident on the bike, this clinic is designed to help you grow in a supportive, stoke-filled environment. Let's ride, learn, and get rad together!
