White began his career in the United States Marine Corps as a small arms repairer (2111) stationed at The Basic School Quantico, VA. After the military, Mr. White began working in law enforcement for the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office where he served as a Deputy Sheriff in the Patrol division. Eventually, he moved to the Charleston area and began working for the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office where he served in the patrol division, marine patrol, and later as a detective assigned to a federal agency investigating drug and human trafficking in the Charleston area. In January of 2011, Mr. White took a new position with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Charleston as an instructor. He worked as a maritime instructor for approximately 11 months before he accepted his current position in the Firearms and Tactics Branch.
