The Alamo Theatre Arts Council has celebrated excellence in live theatre in San Antonio for over thirty years! We want to thank you for your sponsorship in past years and to ask for your sponsorship for 2024.Each fall, the Council hosts The Globe Awards with a gala event bringing our actors, directors, designers, and technicians together for this annual celebration of live theatre. The Globe Awards 2024 will be generously hosted by The Carver Community Cultural Center at the Jo Long Theater on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Ticket sales for The Globe Awards gala cover some of the event expenses, but your participation in this favorite annual celebration will get us over the finish line. Your donation of $250 will include the named sponsorship of the category of your choice in priority of payment, two tickets to a "thank you" reception at The Little Carver including food and beverages, two preferred seats for The Globe Awards show near the stage, two complimentary beverages of your choice, and recognition in the theatre lobby prior to and following the Awards. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.     This year’s show will feature songs and scenes from current local productions and the annual In Memoriam tribute to friends in the community who are no longer among us. We cannot do it without your help! You can make your $250 sponsorship payment now through our Zeffy website! In order to secure sponsorship of the category sponsored in 2023, your payment must be received no later than September 1, 2024. After that date, sponsorships will be opened to new sponsors for their category consideration.  We know that you do much to support theatre across San Antonio and it is appreciated.
