11 AM- Bout #1 will be ADULT, level 3 12:30PM- Bout #2 will be ADULT, level 1-2 2PM- Bout #3 will be Juniors, all gender, all levels Level I/II- Skates with confidence, learning game play and teamwork. The second bout is meant for skaters new to scrimmaging and in the intro/exploratory phase of development (This is Derby WFTDA Curriculum). Positional blocking and sweeps allowed. Proficient and experienced skaters will only be allowed to play in this bout if there are not enough beginner signups and if they can modify their game play. Level III- Full contact rules Team placement will happen as you sign up, and I'll email you to tell you what team you're on for costume planning. Please bring a black and white shirt with your number clearly displayed just in case. Skaters are responsible for checking their safety gear prior to playing. Visit Ramps & Alleys Skate Shop (645 E Rainbow Blvd, Salida), or call Stacy to get gear, fix skates, upgrade, etc. $5 registration fee for skaters. Spectators are free, and are welcome to make a donation to keep AVHR rollin’! Insurance waivers provided upon arrival. Theme: "Drag Queens vs. Drag Racers" Queens wear black shirts, Drag Racers in white Food & Bev: Clubhouse kids will provide lemonade and cookies. The county is providing a cash bar with beer & wine... and Moonlight Pizza will be delivering pies for skaters and volunteers at the after party. The AFTER PARTY will be at Fun Street Family Arcade, 243 F Street, Salida. Moonlight Pizza will be delivering pies for skaters and volunteers immediately following the final bout. Families and friends of skaters can order from Moonlight and bring pizzas to the arcade.
