October is here and you know what that means, It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  As a 10 year survivor, I am pleased to be able to have a space where  can bring people together to discuss such an important topic that is affecting women as young as 19 years old.  That's right, 19! Please join Cazz and myself on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 @ 6:00p as we host our monthly Women's Health and Wellness series BecomingHER. Test your knowledge about Breast Cancer: As a women gets older, what are her chances of getting Breast Cancer? A women without a family history of Breast Cancer, is she still at risk of getting Breast Cancer? If you are a women with small breast, do you have to worry about getting Breast Cancer? If I had a mastectomy of one breast, do I need to worry about getting Cancer in the other? Will treatment push me into menopause? Will my sexual life be affected? Come and get the answers to these questions and any question that you may have as our expert: Breast Cancer Patient Advocate Loretta Muriel will be ready to help you understand issues related to Breast Cancer and your recovery.
